Elnet organizes various programs and actions aimed at strengthening the relationship and dialogue with political entities and civil society in France, Europe, and Israel.

Flagship Program: Ambassadors of Peace

In June, 40 young French and Belgian Muslims will travel to Israel at the initiative of Imam Hassen Chalghoumi, President of the Cultural Association of Muslims of Drancy.

The objective is to show participants, who come from sensitive areas like Molenbeek, a stronghold of Islamism, the reality of Israeli democracy.

Over the course of a week, participants will explore the social diversity of the country and the security challenges it faces. They will engage in open and constructive dialogue with representatives of civil society as well as with religious and political leaders.

The previous trip, held in July 2019, had an extremely positive impact. Upon their return to France and Belgium, the young participants became true ambassadors of peace and dialogue, continuing to work toward bridging the gap between Muslims and Jews.
