OBSERVATOIRE JUIF DE FRANCE.png

Monitoring and documentation of antisemitic and anti-Zionist acts includes providing legal support to victims with a specialized team, operating without external funding. It remains actively vigilant in defending republican values and ensuring justice is upheld.

The Jewish Observatory of France

The Jewish Observatory of France was founded in 1997 by Henri Bensahel, an internationally renowned professor of pediatric and adolescent orthopedic surgery.

Objectives of the Association

This association, an observatory created to track antisemitic acts and highlight toxic ideas about Israel, was essentially a newsletter ahead of its time, aiming to raise awareness in a largely indifferent world.

Henri Bensahel surrounded himself with dedicated activists, many of whom remain involved today.

Tribute to Henri Bensahel

Ten years after his passing, Henri Bensahel’s fight, vision, and legacy continue to thrive.

A team of young activists, committed to ensuring that antisemitism and its disguise, anti-Zionism, do not erode the values of the Republic, has joined us. With expertise in fields such as IT and communication, we have created an online monitoring group. Their dedication and commitment reflect the strength of this cause.

Team and Resources

Henri Bensahel also gathered a group of legal experts, lawyers, and criminal law specialists, focusing on the fight against antisemitism and anti-Zionism.

Legal Successes

We have numerous legal victories to our credit, including cases against Dieudonné, Alain Soral, Hervé Ryssen, Jérôme Bourbon, Jean-Marie Le Pen, and the BDS movement, among others. The list continues to grow.

We support victims throughout the legal process, covering all expenses.

Funding

We receive no external subsidies.
