France-Israel Foundation
Gala
On June 1, 2026, the Foundation held its very first gala, bringing together more than 250 guests in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement. It was a historic, exceptional, joyful, and festive evening dedicated to solidarity and commitment in support of one of the causes closest to our hearts: children. More specifically, the evening focused on the psychological recovery of thousands of Israeli children traumatized since October 7.
Indeed, 100% of the funds raised through the gala will be allocated to concrete programs supporting these children, with the Foundation covering all expenses associated with organizing the event.
The evening was marked by several highlights: the presentation of the Grand Courage Award to Arthur and Boualem Sansal, two extraordinary individuals who have placed humanity at the heart of their commitment; the presence of the Gachka Trio, whose musical performances elegantly accompanied each key moment of the evening; the appearance of Amir, who quite literally electrified the room; and, of course, the remarkable work of AMCHA, our partner organization dedicated to helping save and support these children.
The Foundation warmly thanks all the participants, partners, patrons, artists, and student volunteers who contributed to the success of this evening.
Thanks to your extraordinary generosity and commitment, more than €320,000 has already been raised in support of these children. This amount will make it possible, at a minimum, to provide therapeutic care for more than 300 traumatized children.
We are still awaiting the final donations in order to share a definitive and precise figure, but this remarkable outpouring of solidarity already represents an immense source of hope for hundreds of families facing the psychological consequences of October 7.
