"Innovative trends in irrigation"

France and Israel are recognized for their expertise in agriculture. This is why with the Haut de France region, the largest French agricultural region, the University of Lille, the University of Picardy, the Catholic University of Lille and the Volcani Institute of Agronomy, the France-Israel Foundation organizes in Lille in November 2019 an agronomy symposium during which French and Israeli experts will share their expertise.

The region of Hauts-de-France is the largest French agricultural region, and the irrigation and the uses of water are a major issue in a sustainable agriculture perspective.

Beyond this meeting between Israeli and French experts, the aim of this symposium is to
share the Israeli experience and the new challenges of Hauts-de-France Region in agriculture to identify concrete themes of scientific and technical cooperation.
